Great American Cleanup

Saturday, March 23, 2019 ~ 9am-1pm

Keep America Beautiful ® is encouraging cities across the country to #cleanYOURblock! Join the Main Street Association and

the Historic Northside Garden Club as they work on public space cleanup and beautification activities throughout Union County. Volunteers of all ages, from civic groups, churchs, schools, and neighborhoods should come to he Union County Heritage Museum at 9am to get garbage bags, gloves, and area assignments. At 12pm all groups will return to the museum

to celebrate a day of hard work and enjoy lunch provided by the garden club.

1st Annual Union County Library Easter Egg Hunt

The 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt is happening this year. And what better place for it than the Union County Courthouse lawn?! Bring out the little ones, up to age ten, to hunt for hidden eggs. For more information, please contact Sissy Bullock at the Union County Library, (662) 534-1991.

on Saturday the 18th from 11 am - 1 pm. Get your last minute deals in with Main Street members and enjoy sweet in-store treats.

Biscuits & Jam Farmers' Market Demo Booth

The New Albany Main Street Association will be kicking off their summer events at the Main Street demonstration booth . Beginning in June, During the months of June, July, and August, The Biscuits and Jam Farmers' Market will be open every Thursday evening from 4-7 p,m. with the exception of Thursday, July 3rd. Guest speakers and local chefs will share their passions with the community at the Main Street Demonstration Booth tent.

Unwine'd & Walk Downtown New Albany

Main Street will be kicking off summer with their third annual Unwine'd & Walk Downtown. This fun, adult event is a progressive wine tasting tour with our Downtown & Around New Albany Main Street member shops. Tickets will go on sale May 1st.

Early Bird tickets are $15 and will be available at the Main Street office or at our online store, Two Doors Down, & Sugaree's Bakery from May 1st through June 1st.

After June 1st, ticket prices will change to $20 each.

Cruisin' in New Albany Car Show
Friday, June 28, 2019, 6-8pm
Local car collectors will cruise Bankhead and Main streets for a night of nostalgia. Cars of all vintage, style, and color will ​be celebrated in historic downtown New Albany. Come out to get up close and personal to the cars and their owners at the Cruisin' in New Albany Car Show. Enjoy live music from the Boomers and a special appearance from Elvis.

This year's Freedom Fest coordinators are bringing back an old friend...Smoke on the Water. The festival is looking for individuals or teams who want to try their hand at some good old fashioned bbq with a blackberry twist.

Pedaling for Hope Bike Ride  
Saturday, June 29, 2019, 8:00am-1:00pm
Join us for a ride benefiting Regional Rehab Center and the New Albany Main Street Association. We will have 25 mile, 50 mile, and 100 kilometer options. All riders will receive a t-shirt. There will be water and sports drink along the course, and a service vehicle will follow behind. After the ride, we will enjoy food, music, and door prizes at Bankhead Bicycle Club with music from Import/Export.

Sam Mosley Music Showcase
Saturday, June 29, 2019, 5:30pm-10:30pm
The Riverview Stage at the Park Along the River will be rockin all night with music from some local faves. Twenty2Seven, Paul Tate Trio, and Headliner Sam Mosley with the Muscle Shoals Horns. The music will start at 5:30. Come out early and claim your spot. Frisbees, picnics, and family fun welcome!

Dinner, drinks, stories, and more at RIPLEY SPORTS GRILL!  There will be a BARKLEY TRAVEL charter bus to transport ticket holders from New Albany to Ripley and back.. We will depart at 6:00 pm from the New Albany Main Street office and get back to town around 10pm. Don't miss out on this fun event.
