Our mission is “to enhance the culture and quality of life in New Albany through planned revitalization, diversification, and preservation of the downtown historic district through active community involvement.”

We can only do this through partnerships helping this nonprofit organization raise its operational budget.

Over the years, the New Albany Main Street Association has achieved significant growth and accomplished many improvements. Our partners are the key to these achievements. Pedaling for Hope 2026

returns to New Albany on Saturday, June 20, for a day of cycling, community, and charitable giving on the scenic Tanglefoot Trail®. Riders can choose from 25-mile, 50-mile, or 100K routes, with e-bikes welcome and kids riding free. Benefiting the Regional Rehab Center and the New Albany Main Street Association, the event also features a free Poker Run, post-ride food and drinks, and a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. with the ride starting at 8:00 a.m.

Paws for America Pet Parade

as part of New Albany's America 250th Celebration on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The parade begins at 4:00 PM in front of the New Albany Main Street office and travels to Railroad Avenue before returning downtown. Pets of all kinds are welcome to participate in this patriotic community event, and dressing up your furry friends is encouraged!

Honoring the Past. Celebrating the Future.

Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary in historic Downtown New Albany on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The festivities begin at 4:00 PM with a patriotic pet parade traveling from the Union County Courthouse to Railroad Avenue and back. At 5:00 PM, the community will gather for the Mayor's Welcome, Veterans Tribute, Presentation of Colors, and the singing of the National Anthem. Throughout the evening, visitors can enjoy live entertainment featuring Justin Kirk & Company, Monty J & Element, and Vibe Audio Entertainment, along with food from local groups and activities for children. The celebration concludes with a spectacular fireworks display at dusk as New Albany comes together to honor the past, celebrate the future, and commemorate 250 years of American history, freedom, and community.
