Each age category must have a minimum number of contestants in order to be judged as its own division. If a category does not receive the required number of contestants, those contestants will be moved into the age division closest to their current age so they can still compete in the pageant. For example, if a contestant enters a category that does not meet the minimum number of participants, she may be placed in either the next younger or next older age division based on which group is closest to her age. All placement decisions will be made by the pageant director to ensure fairness for all contestants.
