2025 New Albany–Union County Christmas Parade
Get ready to ring in the season with music, magic, and community cheer! The 2025 New Albany–Union County Christmas Parade returns to Downtown New Albany on Monday, December 1st at 6:30 PM, and this year’s theme is a festive favorite: “Sounds of Christmas.”
From classic carols to modern holiday hits, this year’s parade will celebrate the songs that make the season bright. Parade participants are invited to decorate their floats inspired by their favorite Christmas song—bringing lyrics to life through lights, color, and creativity. Whether it’s “Joy to the World,” “Frosty the Snowman,” or “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” each float will add its own musical flair to the celebration
Applications for participation in the 2025 New Albany–Union County Christmas Parade are now open! Local businesses, schools, churches, civic groups, and individuals are invited to join the celebration by entering a float, vehicle, or walking group that reflects this year’s theme, “Sounds of Christmas.” Don’t miss the opportunity to showcase your creativity and holiday spirit in one of New Albany’s most cherished traditions. Submit your application early to secure your spot in the parade lineup!
