This Christmas, the New Albany & Union County Christmas Parade celebrates the traditions, stories and fairytales that make the season so special.
This year’s theme, “A Celebration of Christmas – Tradition, Stories and Fairytale,” gives you plenty of room to get creative! Think about the Christmas stories you grew up with, traditions your family celebrates year after year, or the magical Christmas worlds we’ve all imagined.
Float ideas could include Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph and his reindeer friends, The Nutcracker, A Christmas Carol, ’Twas the Night Before Christmas, a storybook Christmas village, Santa’s workshop, gingerbread houses, toy shops, winter wonderlands, Christmas around the world, favorite family traditions, or an original Christmas fairytale of your own. Go traditional, nostalgic, whimsical—or create a Christmas story all your own.
Join us in Downtown New Albany on Monday, November 30 at 6:30 PM as the streets come alive with floats, lights, music and plenty of Christmas spirit.
Whether your Christmas memories come from a favorite story, a family tradition or a little holiday imagination, open the book and tell us your Christmas story!
You may also pay the $20 entry fee by check or card in person at:
