We’re excited to have you join us for the 2026 Christmas Parade! Because of limited staging space and the size of our downtown parade route, please review the following information before submitting your application.

Registration & Payment Required

All parade entries must have a completed application and payment on file prior to parade day. We will not be able to add unregistered entries to the lineup on parade day.

If you are participating with a school, homecoming court, pageant, business, church, club, or other organization, please check with your group before registering. Each organization should have a designated contact person responsible for the application and for sharing parade information with everyone participating in that entry.

 

Homecoming Courts & Pageant Queens
Due to limited space, we ask each homecoming court to participate together as one group entry whenever possible. Queens representing the same pageant or organization are also asked to ride together on one float, trailer, or vehicle rather than entering multiple individual vehicles. This allows us to accommodate more participants and helps keep the parade moving smoothly.

 

Large Trucks & Oversized Vehicles
18-wheelers and tractor-trailers are not permitted in the regular staging area. Access to the primary staging area requires crossing a bridge with size and weight limitations.

Other oversized or heavy vehicles may be assigned a separate staging location and will receive specific instructions before parade day. Please accurately identify your vehicle type on the application.

 

School Bands
School bands will receive separate staging and arrival instructions. Band directors or designated contacts will be contacted prior to the parade with their staging location and arrival time. We ask parents and guardians to have participating students at their designated location promptly. Additional information will follow.

 

Equestrian Entries
Equestrian entries must participate as part of an organized group or riding club. Individual equestrian entries will not be accepted. Additional staging information will follow.

Santa & Mrs. Claus
The parade features one official Santa Claus, who will close out the parade on Santa’s sleigh. To avoid confusion, additional Santa Claus characters are not permitted.

If your entry would like to feature Mrs. Claus, please contact the Main Street office in advance and let us know.

Float Judging
To qualify for judging and awards, your decorated entry must reflect this year’s theme, “A Celebration of Christmas – Tradition, Stories & Fairytale.” Please provide a title and brief description of your entry on the application. This information will help our judges understand your interpretation of the theme.
